We're searching for a Venue Supervisor!!!

Do you have a love of puzzles? A flair for the theatrical? A creative problem-solving mind? A secret desire to watch strangers fumble through a complex sequential set of conundrums for 30-60 minutes at a time? Project Immersive is looking for you!
As the Venue Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Operating all Escape Room games in the venue to a high standard

Providing a theatrical prelude as a character for each game

Delivering a high level of customer service both in and out of character

Assisting in the ongoing Maintenance and Cleaning of the Venue

Opening and Closing the Venue

Supervising up to one other employee during venue operation
This position is covered under the Amusement and Entertainment Award [MA000080]. Pay will be between $27.50 - $31.50 per hour depending on your experience.
This is a 6-month Part-Time position with the possibility of extension into an ongoing role with an expected 10-30 hours per week depending on your availability and capability.
Required Skills:

Ability to act as a character (specifically a scientist) and interact with customers while in character. Including checking bookings, taking payment, safety briefings, etc.

Moderate or higher computer skills to operate the games and troubleshoot issues.

Excellent and proactive troubleshooting skills to provide assistance to players during games and/or identify technical issues and resolve them quickly.

Using POS (point of sale) and booking software to confirm bookings and take payments.

Ability to work effectively both independently, and with others.
No official qualifications are needed for this position but qualifications in Theatre, Business Operations, Event Management are favourable.
As this is a supervisor role, 2 years of experience in operating Escape Rooms, Immersive Theatre, Mega Games, or comparable immersive game experience is required. No previous Supervisor or Management experience is required, but is favourable.​.
