As the Venue Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
 

• Operating all Escape Room games in the venue to a high standard

• Providing a theatrical prelude as a character for each game

• Delivering a high level of customer service both in and out of character

• Assisting in the ongoing Maintenance and Cleaning of the Venue 

• Opening and Closing the Venue

• Supervising up to one other employee during venue operation
   

This position is covered under the Amusement and Entertainment Award [MA000080]. Pay will be between $27.50 - $31.50 per hour depending on your experience.
 

This is a 6-month Part-Time position with the possibility of extension into an ongoing role with an expected 10-30 hours per week depending on your availability and capability.

Required Skills: 
 

• Ability to act as a character (specifically a scientist) and interact with customers while in character.  Including checking bookings, taking payment, safety briefings, etc.
   

• Moderate or higher computer skills to operate the games and troubleshoot issues.
   

• Excellent and proactive troubleshooting skills to provide assistance to players during games and/or identify technical issues and resolve them quickly.
   

• Using POS (point of sale) and booking software to confirm bookings and take payments.
   

• Ability to work effectively both independently, and with others.
   

No official qualifications are needed for this position but qualifications in Theatre, Business Operations, Event Management are favourable.

As this is a supervisor role, 2 years of experience in operating Escape Rooms, Immersive Theatre, Mega Games, or comparable immersive game experience is required. No previous Supervisor or Management experience is required, but is favourable.​.
